stock footage earns.

UploadScope keeps each clip once, with its details, and every sale against it, so you can see which clips, curators and places pay, on every site you sell on. Bring in your Blackbox export, or log a sale with a date and an amount.

Invite-only for now. Sign in with the address your invitation was sent to, or ask for an invite.

Recording a sale

Five keystrokes,
then the next one.

Focus returns to the search box the moment a sale saves, so a morning's worth is one continuous run. A running tally counts up as you go.

The name fills in what it can say for certain. Nothing is guessed from another clip, and what is left is a short run the app walks you through.

Beyond the sheet

Three things a flat spreadsheet structurally cannot tell you.

01

Revenue per curated clip

Divides each curator's earnings by how many clips they actually keyworded. A small, effective curator stops hiding behind a large one.

02

What kind of sale pays

Each sale type's share of your money, beside what one sale is worth on average. Discount packs give themselves away instantly.

03

Clips that never sold

Invisible in a sales sheet by construction, because a clip only appears there once it has already earned. Dead inventory finally has a list.

418sales across 189 clips in the demo data
36.8keywords per clip, on average
6%of revenue came from 37% of the sales

Figures and screenshots on this page come from a generated demo dataset, not from anyone's real sales.

Getting started

Start from what you already have.

Two questions set it up: where you sell, and what. Then bring in Blackbox's earnings export, any other site's sales .csv, or a spreadsheet of your own, or simply log your next sale.

  1. Any site's export. Blackbox's is read as it comes. Another site's columns are recognised by name, and anything unclear is yours to map before a single sale is written.
  2. Repeats collapse. A clip that sold five times becomes one library entry with five sales against it. 4k and 4K merge instead of splitting the dropdown.
  3. Nothing is written until you confirm. You get the full count first, including anything skipped and why. Importing the same file again adds only what is new.
  4. One copy, every device. Your library is kept in step with your account, so the Mac, the PC and the browser all have it, and the desktop app keeps working offline.

Installing

Two minutes, once.

The Mac app is signed and notarized by Apple and opens like any other. The Windows installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows warns the first time; that is the system reacting to a missing signature, not to anything wrong with the file. Both update themselves after that.

macOS

  1. Open the .dmg and drag UploadScope into Applications.
  2. Open it from Applications or Launchpad.
  3. Sign in with the address your invitation was sent to. A six-digit code arrives by email; there is no password.

Windows

  1. Run the downloaded .exe installer.
  2. SmartScreen says Windows protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Follow the installer. UploadScope lands in the Start menu.
  4. Windows 10 may fetch the WebView2 runtime on first install. Windows 11 already has it.
